Our Facilities
Based in the conservation area in Ibstock, near to open fields and woodland, Holmsdale Manor Nursery offers a superb environment for children. The nursery is set in two acres and we also use a large area of woodland, within walking distance. We offer Forest School sessions both at nursery and off site in nearby Grange Wood.
We have lots of hidden gems in the nursery grounds! In the orchard, we have a pond to attract wildlife, and apple trees that produce a bountiful supply each autumn.
There is a dedicated space for woodwork and art in the converted stables, and in 2024 we added the 'Inspiration Room" for small groups to explore a range of sensory resources.
In 2025, we added a new mud kitchen to our field and the very popular 'Potion Station'!
2026 will bring all kinds of exciting developments!
Community Engagement
We play an active role in the local community, putting on events and workshops and attending community events.
You will often see the children 'out and about' in their fluorescent jackets!
